The CIMAC Hotel Rooms contingent is sold out due to the high demand. June is high season in Vancouver due to the cruise guests. Since the cruise port and the Congress location, Vancouver Convention Centre - East Building, are next to each other, the hotels close to the Congress are almost fully booked and/or expensive. The Convention Centre is well connected to public transport (Waterfront Station) so we

recommend booking hotels throughout Vancouver Downtown. Vancouver is also called as “Canada’s most walkable city” and it’s easy to get around by yourself. Vancouver North is also a good alternative for hotel bookings, as a ferry (SeaBus) connects Vancouver North with downtown Vancouver and this part of Vancouver is also home to several hotels. The SeaBus connection is very comfortable, cheap and connects the two parts of Vancouver on a very regular basis. Read more
